100 AI+3D Product Animations in 187 Days | Artsky Studio

187 days, 100 AI+3D product animations—that's one every 1.87 days on average. We've kept this pace for over half a year.

To be honest, we never expected this number. On January 4, 2026, we published our very first product animation—a 360° rotating demo of a Bluetooth earbud. The team: just 3 people, one render server, in a cramped 50-square-meter office in Shenzhen's Bao'an district. That night, we stared at the view count growing from 0 to 300 and couldn't sleep from excitement.

187 days later, we hit our 100th. The team grew to 12, render servers jumped to 6, and we moved to a proper workspace in Nanshan Tech Park. More importantly, our client count went from 1 to 47, covering 12 categories including 3C, cosmetics, food, furniture, and industrial equipment. We've shared a record of delivering 12 AI product animations in 30 days, but that was a sprint; now this rhythm is our new normal.

The speed comes from continuous evolution of our AI+3D workflow. We shifted from manual keyframing and traditional rendering to AI-generated 3D models, AI-driven motion, and smart material matching. Example: a smart coffee machine animation used to take 3 days for modeling, 2 days for materials, and 1 day for rendering. Now with AI assistance, modeling takes 4 hours, materials are one-click adapted, motions auto-generated—the whole pipeline is compressed to 1.5 days. The efficiency boost isn't just about speed; when a client requests changes, AI adjusts parameters instantly without manual rework.

Team scaling brought qualitative changes. With 3 people, everyone was a generalist—handling communication, production, and delivery. With 12, we split into four groups: creative planning, 3D modeling, AI tuning, and post-production. The creative team researches visual highlights per category; the AI tuning team trains and fine-tunes models for realistic materials and natural lighting. What excites me most: our Gen-Z designers bring fresh perspectives. One added macro-texture and liquid-glow effects to a lipstick animation, boosting click-through rates by 42% over live-action.

Honestly, these 100 animations weren't smooth sailing. Number 17 (an outdoor tent) went through 8 revisions due to early miscommunication. That taught us to create a standardized brief template with core angles, pacing references, material priorities, and copy highlights—clients fill it in, and we're off. Between number 32 and 50, we faced render crashes and distorted AI models, forcing us to build anomaly-detection tools. Interestingly, those pain points made our pipeline resilient—over the last 30 animations, first-pass approval hit 78%.

100 is a comma, not a period. In the second half, we aim to produce 25-30 animations per month while hiring more talent in rendering, AI algorithms, and creative direction. If you're into AI+3D animation or want to boost your brand with product videos, come grab a coffee near Nanshan—our new office overlooks the Shenzhen Bay, and the view is stunning.
