Corporate Video Production

A brand film has three minutes to explain why a company deserves trust. That takes more than beautiful frames — it takes a line of reasoning people remember.

A corporate video is the company’s face, made for customers and partners. It runs on the homepage, at a trade show booth, in an investor meeting, in a tender. Viewers give it three minutes of patience and walk away with a first impression of the entire company.

So the core skill is not spectacle but selection. A company has twenty selling points; the film can carry three. It has ten production lines; the camera enters two. Which three and which two decide whether the film is forgotten or acted on.

ARTSKY works with manufacturers and export brands, splitting the process into planning, script, shoot, 3D and post. We produce live-action brand films and hybrid technical films that combine 3D with footage — often the only viable way to show internal structure, process precision and future products.

01

What corporate video production involves

First comes planning, which answers three questions: who watches this, what should they do afterward, and where are we genuinely better than peers. Without those answers, production value is wasted.

Second comes script and storyboard, translating strategy into shots. Which line is narration, which one lets the image speak, where silence carries the music — all decided here. The tighter the storyboard, the faster the shoot.

Third is the shoot: studio, location, production line, interviews, executed against the script. This stage carries the most variables — weather, equipment, line schedules — so buffer time is planned in advance.

02

Where 3D animation fits

Whatever the camera cannot reach, 3D handles. Internal structure, tolerances measured in fractions of a millimeter, concept models not yet in production, a line that will exist in ten years — impossible to shoot, straightforward to model.

The key to a hybrid film is continuity. Color temperature, light direction and camera movement must match across 3D and live action, or the cut feels broken. We align both timelines in pre-production so 3D shots are designed around the live-action camera logic.

3D also controls cost. A production-line sequence that would require three days of shutdown can be rebuilt in two days of modeling — and the camera can be repositioned freely without another shutdown.

03

Post: turning footage into a film

The edit sets pace. The same footage becomes a two-minute brand piece, a thirty-second commercial, or a fifteen-second social cut. We plan one shoot to yield multiple versions so a single budget covers several placements.

Color unifies mood, graphics build recognition. Titles, transitions and motion elements should serve the message rather than compete with it. Sound matters just as much: voice texture, musical arc and the placement of effects are often more memorable than the image.

04

One budget, several versions

The real risk is a film nobody watches. We recommend defining distribution at kickoff: a several-minute cut for the homepage, a looping version for the booth, English subtitles and vertical cutdowns for overseas placement, an offline file for sales visits.

Half a day spent confirming these uses in pre-production saves a full second edit later. It is part of the delivery list we include by default.

What does a corporate video cost?

Four components stack: planning and script, production, 3D animation, post. Production is priced by days and covers director, camera, lighting, location and gear. 3D is priced by shot count and precision. Post is priced by version count and graphics complexity.

Two three-minute films can differ tenfold — the gap is shoot days, whether 3D is included, talent and location spec, and the number of deliverable versions. Confirm those four separately before comparing totals.

How to choose a studio: five verifiable checks

First, ask for complete films, not a showreel — a reel only shows the best three seconds. Second, ask who does the planning and whether they can offer thinking specific to your industry rather than a template. Third, confirm whether the crew is in-house or assembled per project.

Fourth, write revision rounds and deliverables into the contract: how many versions, which aspect ratios, subtitles, and whether source footage is delivered. Fifth, check 3D capability — for technical products, many selling points simply cannot be shot.

Why manufacturers and export brands need one

Manufacturing advantage usually hides where cameras do not go: process precision, line scale, inspection standards. Words struggle to convey it; a lens does it instantly. For overseas buyers, a professionally produced corporate film is itself a signal of supplier reliability.

Export also demands localization: English subtitles, pacing that fits the target market, ratios for each platform. We deliver those versions together, saving the brand a second pass.

Frequently asked questions

What does a corporate video cost?+

It depends on shoot days, whether 3D animation is included, talent and location spec, and the number of deliverable versions. A live-action brand piece and a 3D-heavy hybrid have entirely different cost structures. Define use and runtime first for an itemized quote.

How long does production take?+

A typical project runs four to eight weeks from planning to delivery: one to two weeks of planning and script, one to three shoot days, three to four weeks of post. Complex 3D sequences extend that.

Can you work without a physical product?+

Yes. Products not yet in production, concept models and planned production lines can all be built in 3D — no sample required, no shutdown required.

Do you provide versions for overseas placement?+

Yes. Delivery includes multiple ratios (16:9 / 9:16 / 1:1) and bitrates, with English-subtitled or clean no-subtitle versions on request.

Does shooting require stopping production?+

Line sequences need schedule coordination but not a shutdown. If the line cannot accommodate a crew, we rebuild that sequence in 3D — cost and downtime can be compared before deciding.
